FAQ - Answers to important questions
Our products often have additional DLL files to adapt the Expert Advisor or indicator on your computer (VPS). If your antivirus swears at the archive, disable it.
- Read the instructions for installing the adviser with the DLL below.
- All advisers and indicators are 100% working and tested.
- We update the versions of Expert Advisors and indicators. This is our right, but not an obligation.
- Download all files and updates in your personal account after authorization at the time of purchase.
- If any product turned out to be really not working, we will replace it to another similar one of your choice.
If the EA does not install, first check the version of your terminal and the correct installation of the DLL files. Instructions for installing a DLL here: How to install a DLL

When working with forex robots, use a VPS (rented computer), do not regret it for $ 3 per month.
We have been working for more than 5 years already using these services:
1 VPS service from Zomro: registration link with promo code (you will be given a discount).
2 ForexBox VPS service: registration link (also get a discount).< span style="color: #34495e;">
3 VPS service from FirstByte: registration link (The cheapest (but stable!) VPS is 150 rubles per month)

Expert Advisor for resolving drawdown on the account. I recommend using it on the account to reduce drawdown. If the drawdown is more than 70%, I recommend adding to the account, since the robot needs free funds to work and process this drawdown. It is difficult to predict the duration of the work, since everything strongly depends on the settings and on the predisposition of the market. It works on MetaTrader 4, standard version 2.1 and version 2.4 by agreement.
The robot is easy to set up and at the same time very functional. AW Recovery is able to lock positions, disable other Expert Advisors and start automatically when a certain drawdown level is reached. Averaging positions with trend filtering and partial closing of unprofitable positions are used, so the robot needs some free balance on the account to trade positions.
- Locking positions;
- Delayed launch by drawdown level;
- The ability to automatically stop all other Expert Advisors at startup;
- Using a trend indicator for averaging;
- Partial closing of pulling orders.
- The ability to test on a demo account and on a strategy tester.
How the ADVISER works
First of all, the ADVISER looks for profitable trades and reduces part of unprofitable orders at their expense.
Then "AW Recovery EA"fixes the position so that the loss cannot grow. This action takes place using locking. That is, if the position remains unprofitable, the adviser will open additional orders so that the number of lots on the buy is equal to the number of lots on the sell. In this situation, wherever the market trend goes, the amount of loss will not increase.
After the position is fixed, the ADVISER virtually splits the unprofitable position into separate small parts. Each small part is closed individually, this is called partial closure, with such closure the deposit is loaded less and the recovery process becomes the safest.
The Expert Advisor opens the first averaging order (the size of the first order, the step between orders, the multiplier, etc. these parameters are configured in the input settings of the Adviser). Averaging orders can generate a temporary additional loss, since the EA uses a grid strategy when opening averaging orders. A new averaging order will be opened by the Expert Advisor if the previous one is at a loss.
- If the order type is not selected in the input settings, the Expert Advisor will determine which type of averaging orders to use.
Averaging orders are opened with a small volume, after the profit on these orders exceeds the part for closing, then closing will occur.
The closing of a losing position occurs in parts. At the same time, the adviser perceives the unprofitable position as a single structure. The profit from averaging orders covers part of the unprofitable position.
There are no universal settings because all users have different situations. The settings for one user may be very different for another. In each case, individual settings are needed.
In the Expert Advisor, no more than one order is opened per candle. This allows you to filter out strong market fluctuations. In order not to stretch the recovery too much, I recommend using the M15 timeframe.
You can check your situation in the strategy tester with visualization mode enabled.
How to calculate the settings?
Closing part: To work at an average risk level, it is necessary to divide a long-distance unprofitable order (this is the order the distance from which to the current price is the largest) into about 6-8 parts. That is, if the long-range order has a volume of 1 lot, then the part for closing can be from 0.16 lots to 0.12 lots.
Averaging orders: The size of the first averaging order should not be less than the part for closing. The usual recommended ratio is 1:1.5. This parameter can change based on volumes, distance and volatility.
Step between averaging orders: Depends on the average daily market volatility on the current instrument. For high-risk trading, we take a small step between orders, then many orders will be opened. Divide the average daily volatility by 4. For low risks, divide this indicator by 2.
Preparation before launching the Expert Advisor.
Manual closing: You can manually close all profitable trades, and use this profit to close some of the unprofitable trades. This will help speed up the recovery process and thereby reduce the number of accrued swaps.
Deposit replenishment: If the EA cannot close your drawdown during testing, then most likely you need to top up your deposit. Test the situation with an increased deposit.
If the drawdown is very large.
To restore unprofitable positions, the adviser needs free funds to open averaging orders.
You can close all profitable orders, and close some of the unprofitable orders by the volume of their profits. This way you can speed up the recovery process.
If you made a mistake with the EA settings and increased the drawdown volume, then you can change the magic number and the position will be locked (since previously opened orders with a different magic number will be perceived as someone else's). Then you can start the recovery process again. In this case, I recommend to top up the deposit and test the settings again.
Trend filtering - This variable regulates the trend filters of the Expert Advisor.
For example, you will set a step between averaging orders of 100 points, while enabling a trend filter. After 100 points have passed, the Expert Advisor will first check whether there is a signal from the indicator to open the next order. If there is no signal, the distance between orders will be increased, and the EA will not open a new order until there is a corresponding signal.
The trend filter is already built into the Expert Advisor, but it is not displayed graphically in order not to consume additional resources. Enabling a trend filter reduces risks. The trend filter works according to the current Timeframe.
